Terms of Use - Lodging only units

 

The following are required to rent one of the "Lodging ONLY Units" 

On rare occasions it is necessary to give a similar but a different unit that was first discussed.  We ask people for their first choice and their second choice.  We reserve the right to hold a similar, but different unit.  Sometimes a unit has someone holding over who has stayed several days already... or because of needs of those who are calling for a room, needing a two day stay instead of a one day stay,  alternate housing may be required for those who have booked already.  If so, we will call you in advance if possible.

 

Please look through the room/unit carefully and be sure it is satisfactory.

If you do not agree, please do not move in, even for a day

If you see something that needs minor cleaning, please help out ... or let us know at the beginning of your stay.

We ask that you 'help out' so we can keep our rates affordable.  We want you to enjoy your day rental unit

Units are in good condition; but not perfect condition. 

For the price, they are a good value.

If you check in, you agree to the following:

  • No Food included ... Just use of Kitchen/Washer/dryer

  • If you use the kitchen, wash all dishes/cooking utensils before leaving.

  • Unit must be returned in the same condition received except for beds and bathroom cleaning

  • No cleaning or packaging of fish in unit

  • No extra people without add-on fee even for day use only:  $15/per adult per day

  • No pets allowed.  (Note below)

  • No inside smoking

  • For apt rental - speak quietly - feel like arguing? Go elsewhere - No slamming doors

  • Make sure all garbage in kitchen garbage can (tied off)

  • Clean refrigerator

  • Close all windows except for hot days; close at night.  Keeps the furnace running & wastes heat.  Surcharge of $50 if windows left open any time of year.

  • When gone for the day, please turn heat thermostat down; (we may pop in to double check)

  • Plumbing is in good working condition.  Don't put paper towels or anything larger than toilet paper down the toilet. Any plumbing or sewer cleanout expense shall be charged to you

  • Firmly turn shower knobs - don't wrench tightly

  • Use a can for cooking grease.  Do not pour grease outside or down the drain

  • Do not put salad ingredients down the garbage disposal.

  • If anything needs repair, please call us promptly  835-3135  Do not attempt repairs yourself.

  • Any extra pick up/cleanup left for us to do shall be an add on fee of $15 to your lodging fee

  • No phone in unit

  • No TV ... just VCR use -  Some TVs do get channel 9 - but no cable in 2008

  • Need something mailed to you?  $10 handling fee plus postage.

  • Check in not before 3pm or after 9pm or a 10% surcharge -  Check out by 2pm (Add on cost per hour hold over is $25/hour)

  • Upon departure, leave keys in unit; No return of keys is $10/per set of keys ($7 per single key)

Add ons:

  • If you bring a freezer +$10 for extra electrical use during stay.  Easy freeze only charges $8/day for up to 100 lbs

  • If you other equipment that needs more than regular electrical usage, please let us know.

  • Staying more than one day?  Fresh towel service is not a part of the rental rate;  +$10/day this service.  Units are do-it-yourself, but add on perks may be available

For non compliance expect to pay additional $30 per each non-compliance charged to your credit card after move-out

If you are traveling with a pet, we must be notified in advance; & we may not approve one.  $25 fee for no advance notice as only a limited number of units can be approved for a pet.  All units:
