Gulf War Vets
Feel CFIDS is
one of their main health issues
Even recently
suspecting vision problems are a part of that
It could be from
multiple sources of Exposures to 2-butoxyethanol
Why Can't the USA Find
the Real Cause of 'gulf war syndrome?'

What is the
chemical/s in Rocket Propellants?

ethylene oxide ?
|
" ... in most aerosol
propellants"
Compiled by
Julia Kendall
who died from
chemical
poisoning (1935
- 1997)
On one of her
links,
I find the
following
information:
aerosols
|
"2-Butoxy-1-Ethanol or
butyl cellosolve are in
most aerosol
propellants."
Now, the latter is the name
Dow Chemical uses for
2-butoxyethanol.
They are synonyms
Ah ha! And so is
2-butoxy-1-ethanol

What is
IRFNA ? (what is THIS rocket
Propellant?) |
Not a
good idea to 'blow up' munitions near any troops

Scuds and the
Patriot Missile
This 'Gulf War Syndrome' Vet
was just 2 blocks away once
Maggie, what
you said is close,
"What I suspect for some of the
cancers that those who live in that
land are finding, is that these
missiles would have ethylene oxide
(a rocket propellant)"
consider the following definition of
a scud missile found at
http://www.gulflink.osd.mil/irfna/irfna_taba.htm

Scud missile
A mobile, Russian-made, tactical
ballistic surface-to-surface
missile.[173] The Iraqi military
used the Scud extensively in the
Iran-Iraq War and the Gulf War. The
Scud is fueled by inhibited red
fuming nitric acid and
kerosene
further searches reveled the
following about red fuming nitric
acid

Inhibited red fuming nitric acid
(IRFNA), known as type IIIB fuming
nitric acid in the US, is used as a
liquid propellant rocket engine
oxidizer. It is light-orange to
orange-red in color, clear, strongly
fuming, and evolves toxic nitric
acid vapor and yellow-red vapors of
nitrogen oxides. Fuming nitric acids
are unstable releasing nitrogen
dioxide, nitric oxide, and nitric
acid mist into the atmosphere.
Fuming nitric acids are highly
corrosive oxidizing agents and will
vigorously attack most metals. They
also react with many organic
materials resulting in spontaneous
combustion.
so Maggie you see why I think you
are in left field on this one no
ethylene oxide in the fuel for scuds
missiles.
but you are right on the possible
health effects related to scud
missile hits and near misses related
to the possible weapons load in the
war head. So most likely no
2-butoxyethanol was used in scud
missile fuel.

in unrelated triva my unit was only
a couple blocks away from the site
in Daharan where the missile hit the
barracks.

| Scud
missile |
A mobile,
Russian-made, tactical ballistic
surface-to-surface missile.[173]
The Iraqi military used the Scud
extensively in the Iran-Iraq War and the
Gulf War. The Scud is fueled by
inhibited red fuming nitric acid and
kerosene (or unsymmetrical
dimethylhydrazine).[174]
|
| Silkworm
missile |
An
anti-ship, Chinese-made,
surface-to-surface missile that uses
inhibited red fuming nitric acid as its
propellant oxidizer.[175]
|
|
Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH) |
A volatile,
colorless liquid with an ammonia-like
odor.Hazards and symptoms of exposure to
UDMH are similar to those of fuming
nitric acid, and include eye and skin
irritation, choking, chest pain,
shortness of breath (dyspnea), lethargy,
nausea, low oxygen levels in the blood
(anoxia), convulsions, and liver injury.
[176] Used as a
component of rocket propellant.[177] |
| Propellant |
The
combination of rocket oxidizer and fuel
is called propellant.[169]
When combined under controlled
conditions, a fuel such as kerosene or
unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH)
and IRFNA will combust
and burn to create the heat and thrust
needed to "propel" or launch a rocket or
missile. Missile propellants can be
liquid or solid. The Scud, for example,
is a liquid propellant missile, while
the US Patriot uses a solid propellant.
|
Kyle Missile |
A
Russian-made, anti-radar,
air-to-surface missile which
used IRFNA as its propellant
oxidizer.[152]
|
What Propellants in the Patriot Missile? |
| Pulmonary
edema |
Fluid
build-up in the lungs, which causes lack
of oxygen; also known as "dry land
drowning."[170]

Anthrax vaccine blamed
for illness, but ...
There's another possibility
That everyone seems to be
overlooking .... for ....
"Auto-immune diseases such as
ALS, lupus and rheumatoid
arthritis are chronic and
increasingly debilitating. They
occur when the body can't
distinguish between itself and
foreign substances it's supposed
to attack."
This is very true; and I believe
the main harm to the gulf war
vets was to the immune system.
Almost everything they have
could be traced back to the harm
to the immune system:
having an
autoimmune functioning
immune system
HOWEVER, there is another
neurotoxin 'on the list' that
could causes these and all the
other symptoms, too
Pick one of the first 2 links
on this
web page to see the
list of solvents and pesticides
the troops then were exposed to.
In fact the chemical I've been
sharing about is not only a
solvent, it is by some odd
definition a pesticide AND a
neurotoxin that does the
assortment of nervous system
damage that everyone is focusing
on.
AND it causes CFS, CFIDS and
THIS
FATIGUE which is
autoimmune red blood cell
damage. That is the fatigue that
has been fooling the doctors for
over half a century.
So someone answer this question,
"What was different about the
1990 gulf war compared to all
other prior wars the US was
involved in? .... & I
believe I can tell you not only
the most probable chemical of
harm, but also the SOURCE
What would someone answer that
was a kid back then? Best that
a gulf war vet not answer the
question because they would have
too many answers; and the answer
is not a difficult one.
Anyone who listened to the news
at all back then could answer
this question
