What job did Denny Kelso have in 1989?

In Valdez, Alaska Steve Provant was the head of Alaska DEC. He died after surgery for gall bladder removal. In his case he had CLL (Chronic Lymphocydic Leukemia).

His wife said he was a chemist and ALWAYS careful to wear his protective suit. What she did not realize, is that the beaches he was on ... could have fresh fumes from the Inipol EAP 22 or Corexit. Or the wind could have blown the fumes into his eyes. I would consider him a casualty of the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup. Obituary

Valdez DEC worker said he and Denny Kelso

arrived on a recently 'inipol 22' sprayed beach, 1989 by Helicopter

I've always wondered if he had the CFIDS issues from that date on ...

as I was told the fumes were 'unbearable'

Hi There,

Not sure if you have found out by now, but I came across your site, and saw your question about Denny Kelso. As far as I know, he is alright. He was the most inspiring teacher I’ve ever had, and is finishing up his last year as a professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz (undoubtedly inspiring more with his innovative environmental law and policy ideas and support) before he leaves to continue his work he was awarded for the PEW oceans commission on effects of fish aquaculture and genetically engineered salmon. You can still contact him through UCSC. Good luck!

I want to tell him that the harmful component of cleanup, 2-butoxyethanol could have affected him,
but doctors would not find it: fatigue of CFIDS
