SUSPECTED KIDNEY PROBLEM
HI, FOR THE LAST FOUR MONTHS I HAVE HAD BLOOD IN MY URINE BUT ALL TESTS INVOLVING A CT SCAN ULTRASOUND AND BLOOD TESTS HAVE ALL COME UP AS BEING NORMAL. MY LAST URINE TEST SHOWED HAEMATURIA AND PROTEINURA, I RECENTLY STARTED GETTING BAD HEADACHES WHICH I NOW HAVE EVERYDAY AND MY MENSTRAL CYCLE HAS CHANGED. I ALSO HAVE SHARP PAINS THAT COME AND GO IN MY CHEST, IF ANYONE COULD PLEASE GIVE ME ANY INFO I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS. Jaiyme  4-5-05
Well, I always talk about this chemical I've been studying.

What 2-butoxyethanol can do.

And I see several things that do fit its pattern.

Are you also TIRED?  Have you had some type of 'flu-like' symptoms?

Could you have the doctor check you for autoimmune hemolytic anemia and ask whether or not the red blood cells are more immature than mature (the ratio is off between mature and immature red blood cells)

This chemical can affect the kidneys, but I don't hear you saying anything about lower back pain.

The headaches ... the hormones being off (too much or too little of this or that hormone is part of what this chemical does).  Can the doctor check immune system to see if it is going autoimmune?  Is there a way to check what is going on with the pituitary?

Pain here there & everywhere is sometimes an effect of the immune system attacking you.  You should track the 'retic rate' and a few other things in your blood

The grouping of these kinds of symptoms is sometimes called CFS, CFIDS, FM ... depending on which symptoms it is grouping together.  It's more or less a 'catch-all' term meaning you don't have this. . . you don't have that ... so we'll say we don't know what the fatigue is & call your grouping of symptoms .... "_____"

I ask that for your info.  Getting one of these diagnosis is less important that knowing and tracking what your own ailments are.  How to find the harm of 2-butoxyethanol.

Now, I have no medical background; however, I have spent A LOT OF TIME looking into the harm of 2-butoxyethanol, and I recognize its pattern of harm.  I hope you will seriously look at this information because it took me most of 3 years to find it.

I was perplexed how people with known harm to it were told they were OK, except for singular side effects, like 'diabetes' (endocrine disruption sign), etc.

I do so wish doctors would see the big picture of this chemical's harm and STOP it in its tracks!

What kind of work do you do?  Please let me know what your doctor finds out  e-mail
