The thought on using glyconutrients, in my opinion, is that it helps the immune system to work properly instead of being autoimmune - 'friendly firing' ... and then the body can recruit its own stem cells.  Many birth defects have an autoimmune metabolic component - such as 2-butoxyethanol exposures to those in our family line ... could cause.
