as we have had a 'Dear Abby' to give comments on the social graces one
needs ... I thought it would be a good idea to have some common sense
helps on how to recognize and avoid chemical exposures. So, "Dear
Maggie' is my thread on the
chemical exposure I know best and which seems to be going undetected
for over 70 years ... to the point that it
is not being regulated nor proper warnings required by EPA. We are in a world of hurt, friends. Even pets can 'get the FATIGUE' Now,
medical experts even say that the 'gulf war syndrome' vet is no more
harmed than the general population. Well, they most certainly ARE
harmed, so what is a common exposure that they would have and that the
general population would have also?
Learn to recognize the signs of too much of some kind of chemical The emphasis should not be in tricking the body to 'stop coughing' for instance, but what is the cause of the cough in the first place. Such as this man's terrible cough which led, for him, to CNS lymphoma & death. Now when baby starts to cough, don't run for the cough medicine. Think. What has happened right then that was different than before? Sometimes a babysitter can be exposed to this chemical and expose baby to it: 2nd hand solvent exposure of vapors in one's eyes of the EGBE chemical. Or is babysitter trying to be extra careful and SPRAYING the ethanol type 'germ killer' spray that is 75% ethanol? Sorry, but SIDS is not age related, if you ask me.
