Mile 100 Glenn Construction Delays Now over! during summer of 2003 Open at nights starting Sept, 2003 The Drive to Valdez is Worth it... all by itself! Stop at the new informational office, Copper Center, Alaska ... And consider mile 24 on the Richardson for a stop at Blueberry Lake Recreational site in the Thompson Pass area (May thru August)
... and also stop at the only highway access to a glacier at mile 29 - The Worthington Glacier! All along the way there are several road stops between Glennallen and Valdez. Stop in and say 'Hello!' |
