If a product cleans really good, & they caution you to not get it on your skin, nor breathe fumes, there's a very good chance that it has 2-butoxyethanol: the same solvent/poison in Inipol EAP 22 & Corexit that causes hemolytic anemia, central nervous system damage, skin damage and kidney & liver damage... cancers? most likely. (Used during the experiment with chemicals during the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup, with 12-38% 2-butoxyethanol in them) If you should live to be 85, who wants to die at 65? Sadly, household cleaning products have gotten exempt from disclosing the ingredients that are harmful to the public. I've asked. They won't say. More info www.valdezlink.com/household.htm

Since this comment 1-28-03.... Found what is in Lysol Tub 'n Tile *
- something to avoid if you were overexposed at any time to any chemicals... or if you don't want any build up of this chemical in a loved one. Don't even get into a bathtub washed down with Lysol Tub 'n Tile
Found what's in Dawn * this has one of the least hazardous surfactants... but still, should use gloves when washing dishes by hand...
Appropriate personal protective equipment...
whether housewife or worker around strong concentrations of 2-butoxyethanol
... &/or repetitive use of such... effects are cumulative *
Exposure Potential *
Non toxic household products *
