syndrome could still be going on - I think it is from something the
troops use to clean their weapon daily. For our 800 Alaska troops that
left a couple of weeks back for Afghanistan, they could be spared these
horrible health effects, if someone in authority quickly checks into it
and limits troops exposure to the probable 'proprietary' ingredient:
either 2-butoxyethanol, as I was told, or Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether * which is similar but worse (same as in Lysol Tub 'n Tile). These chemicals should be banned.
Daily exposure to these chemicals is just TOO
MUCH EXPOSURE. The military needs to inventory all products that
contain these chemicals & carefully monitor exposure to them.
Wearing goggles and gloves is recommended, but do people?
Congress should ban them from use altogether. People do not
realize that they are at risk for unbelievable health damage, as
exposures are 'cumulative' 257 words 1-888-853-5333 If you have something to share, please contact me. |
