... is that many who worked on oil spill have been having for years and are now still having health problems & they don't realize the cause... 

don't even think to tell doctors they were over-exposed (or poisoned) 

with chemicals.... 

mechanics sometimes have little bits of exposures over a longer period & can have similar problems:* per news articles

From MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet):  Prolonged or repeated contact may remove oils from the skin and may dry skin and cause irritation, redness and rash... states that studies with laboratory animals indicate that a component may cause red blood cell damage (hemolysis)

...states composed of 

Oleic acid, 

(phosporic acid, dodecyl ester 9-25-01), trilaureth-4-phosphate in 7-28-89

urea and 

2-Butoxyethenal

 
...states material is classified as hazardous under Federal OSHA regulation...
Causes eye and skin irritation; respiratory tract irritation; central nervous system depression including headache, dizziness, weakness, confusion, nausea and loss of consciousness;  Contains 2-Butoxyethanol which may cause red blood cell damage based on animal data.
