Who Knows What Experiments Exxon Carried Out

 During the summer of 1989!

Dear Dr. Hugh Cartwright

http://www.valdezlink.com/inipol/corexit.htm  look at info in blue box.

I saw a video of Corexit of 8-1-89 which would be the version they started with... containing ethylene oxide...
dropped into the oilled waters of Prince William Sound by airplane.

So, what was happening really?
Since oil has  http://www.valdezlink.com/inipol/msds_crude_oil.htm

& this was dumped in it?  (I think the experiments weren't shared with the public... & results must have been not so great to switch to the same stuff Inipol EAP 22 had)

http://www.valdezlink.com/inipol/pages/corexit9527.htm   says CAS REGISTRY NUMBER     : 60617-06-3  what else is known about it?

Anyway, I think it doesn't do any good;  but they will at least say it is a surfactant, dispersing the oil... just guessing
