You may have something to add to these symptoms of
too much chemical exposure: www.valdezlink.com/gwv/gws_too_much_chemicals.htm
CAS - & - Chemical Name (EPA has tested
Exposure/Effects of these as pesticides)
112-34-5 Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether
111-76-2 Ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (aka
2-butoxyethanol)
This is worth looking at if you are interested in the
nervous system damage of such chemicals www.valdezlink.com/solvent_studies.htm

Chad Pagel of Indiana is a combat soldier of the Gulf
War. His community has recently done a fund raiser for
him. www.valdezlink.com/gwv/chad.htm
Please contact Chad if you have helps for him:
And he may be posting updates on his own, as well.

His sharing about
the 'leathery skin' that no dermatologist could help
with, reminded me of similar comments from the EVOS
workers
He offered some pictures here of possible chemical
exposures for the troops. www.valdezlink.com/gwv/chad4.htm
And other comments: www.valdezlink.com/gwv/chad1.htm
www.valdezlink.com/gwv/chad2.htm
www.valdezlink.com/gwv/chad3.htm
He has started up a forum that he asked me to
contribute to. gulfwarhelp.com/phpbb2
His website with the focus on getting vets back to the
way they were before the war is here www.gulfwarhelp.com
He says he has a lot of improving to do and I'm
sure he could use the support of other vets. Thanks

Thank you for your concern, Hawk,
No, We haven't heard from him in about a month and
we are concerned.
Sadly, as you know he checked himself into the VA
Psych ward on Christmas eve
(Not such a great Christmas for the family) and he
was stressed out needing financial help since he had
been unable to work since March 03
He shared that they found he had bone marrow and
liver problems, as he got out ... 'just another thing
to add to the list,' he said.
"No, Chad, you certainly have harm from the
2-butoxyethanol, from what you have shared with me
(& who knows what else?) and these are not just
something to add to the list.
Ethylene glycol monobutyl ether causes bone marrow
damage and it causes liver problems: these are PRIMARY
- not add ons
He is moving from his house. And had trouble
keeping his discussion forum up (sadly as he had good
info)

If
you have been harmed by 2-butoxyethanol, what can you do about
it?

Best helps are to check with a toxicologist or have
your doctor call experts in chemical testing. If
there is some chemical residual in your body, the
chemical test can detect it, and there are some
schools of thought, such as Dr. Rea has, that you
can flush it out of your system. They work with your
immune system and help it work properly again, from
what I've heard; however, I have no first hand
knowledge of that.
I've compiled some helps here. valdezlink.com/pages/changes.htm
