10% of Spray 'n Wash is an undeclared surfactant

 10-12% of Inipol EAP 22 is a poisonous surfactant, 2-butoxyethanol *

Corexit is most like 409 Cleaner *

Primary hazardous ingredients declared are

 2-butoxyethanol

and

ethylene oxide

Is Exxon revealing ingredients? *

"It is common to mention in the MSDS of cleaning formulations only 'surfactants'. In cosmetic formulations a detailed list is required. In surfactant formulations often also a 'bit more information' is provided by grouping into anionic, nonionic, amphoteric, cationic surfactants, for
example, 'mixture of nonionic and anionic surfactants < 50 %'.

I am convinced, that no more safety is provided if the detailed composition is mentioned.

However, it is required that the name 'surfactant' really means common surfactants, not something else. Further, substances with compound specific health hazards like carcinogenicity must be declared. Hazards and safety measures have to be listed. So in connection with surfactants eye and skin irritation, which results from their solubilizing properties, i.e. they remove the protective fat layer from the skin.

In summary this makes the differences between MSDS´s of the two products."

What he does:  After finishing his studies at the Technical University in Budapest he worked on characterization of physico-chemical properties of surfactants, then on development of surfactant formulations for soil remediation. At present he works on the broader topic of separation stability of chemical dispersions, which comprises a lot from cosmetic and pharmaceutic products, like creme's, lotions, over food products to sludges and crude oil.

However,  since household cleaning products are not required by law to disclose ingredients to the consumer

... maybe they could have hazardous chemicals... but the public wouldn't be aware of it.
